About

We’ve been inspired by seeing people we know who have taken turns for the better in their lives, often by exploring and starting over with new approaches and ideas. With that in mind we’re creating Startover to be a place where people who want to make positive change in their health or life style can meet with experts and other people like themselves to learn and exchange ideas.

Eager to start over, she enrolled in Bank Street College's dual degree Literacy and Childhood General Education program. She loves working with readers, ages five through nine, at Bank Street School for Children and as a literacy tutor in NYC. Additionally, Alyssa is a freelance creative consultant, who provides creative feedback for TV and film scripts in development and edits music video treatments for recording artists. She considers herself hopelessly curious, and is endlessly grateful to be so easily bewildered and inspired. If you need to find her, she's either walking her two beloved dogs or at the movie theatre.
