Join us for a conversation and Q&A with Ashley Greene, Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at The Churchill School.
A native New Yorker, Ashley Greene was born in Brooklyn, NY. After graduating from high school, she attended Howard University. She later pursued a B.S in Mathematics from the S.U.N.Y College at Old Westbury, where she was initiated into Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc. Ashley then went on to continue her education at Touro College where she received a M.S. Ed. She is currently the Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at The Churchill School and Center in New York, NY.
Ashley has spent time teaching and leading in schools on both coasts, both in New York and Los Angeles. She prides herself on being a lifelong learner and servant leader. Ashley understands that leading others in the work of creating an inclusive community where people are seen, heard, valued, and feel protected is often hard, messy, and certainly uncomfortable. However, creating a school in which all people feel important, like more than just a face in the crowd, and are able to bring their full authentic selves to every interaction must be our goal as educators.
