With Soyoung Park

In light of recent events, the Startover team has decided to hold space for stories about the effects of anti-Asian hate and racism. Soyoung will join Susie in discussing these stories, the history of racism with the Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) community, and how we start to battle these effects with concrete steps that we can take in order to be upstanders and not bystanders.

About the Speaker

A former kindergarten special education teacher, Soyoung received a B.A from Brown University, an M.P.S. from Manhattanville College, and a Ph.D. from Stanford University.
